It appears another big Silicon Valley company has plans to open an artificial intelligence (AI) lab in Canada.
In a recent job posting on LinkedIn, Adobe is looking for candidates to fill the position of AI Lab Director, who will be responsible for establishing “a cutting-edge research lab in artificial intelligence that will both push the state-of-the-art and have a profound impact on Adobe’s products.”
The job description continues to read that “the role will help to shape Adobe’s strategic vision of how to apply breakthroughs in AI to its current and future products.”
A Globe and Mail article reports that Adobe would be following in the footsteps of other Silicon Valley companies, including Facebook, Microsoft, and Uber, in establishing AI labs in Canada.
