Careers in the 21st Century

Once considered to be stable, jobs in fields like medicine, law, and finance are changing in response to factors such as shifting attitudes towards job security, globalization, automation, and artificial intelligence.

While certain fields trend towards automation, jobs in science, technology, and green energy may see growth in the future.

We are also seeing a shift towards the gig and portfolio economy: more individuals are freelancing and taking on multiple jobs at one time than ever before.

As we move forward through this ever-changing job market, the skills that will aid individuals in the workplace will consequently change.

We will likely trend towards companies placing a higher emphasis on soft skills.

Still feeling confused about the changing job market?

Fear not! We will be discussing these topics in further depth in the upcoming weeks, so make sure to stay tuned.
